I just wanted to let you know that you both positively represent Omaha Singles to Louise and I. We hear so much grumbling and disappointment from people who expect you to do it all. One thing you both were clear about from the beginning was that Omaha Singles was a safe, efficient and effective way to meet and get to know others in our same circumstances. It is, in my opinion, the job of Omaha Singles to help with those connections. 'Mission Accomplished'. I lose my patience with those expecting a dating service to make them more attractive or socially capable. It is unfair to blame a matchmaker for the failure of others to be interested.

Louise and I both realize that our first date we owe to you guys and everything else is our hard work, dedication, love and commitment. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea, as you interview new prospects to ask them their expectations. It's like God (Morgan Freeman) said to Bruce (Jim Carrey) in 'Bruce Almighty' …even God can't make somebody love somebody else.

The difference we saw in Omaha Singles, unlike eHarmony, Match.com, Cupid.com, Plenty of Fish, Date.com, JustSayHi.com, etc. we got to meet someone face-to-face who showed an genuine interest, empathy, enthusiasm and dedication to helping us find those who were interested in a mutually beneficial and quality relationship. Some would argue that the price paid was out of line. I used the above mentioned services for over a year before meeting you and spent over two-thousand dollars in monthly fees, as much on shallow dates with deceptive candidates and was deluged with messages from people from other continents.

The announcement of our wedding engagement is a testimony of what can happen if people take the seeds you two plant, water them and keep them in the sun. Regarding the logistical miscommunication for the venue the other night, we want you to know that the complaints come from those who expect the event to bring them someone to love. All the event does is allow each member to strut their stuff. We came, even though our match is complete, to see the two of you, to demonstrate for others that the process works and to thank you for helping us meet. We count you as friends.
